News from the club AGM
The club AGM was held on Tuesday 22nd April. Here are the brief highlights taken from Jackie's minutes: John Ingram will continue as club chairman, Jackie Carter as secretary and Paul Dellow and treasurer. Andrew Chastell will continue as 400 club organiser with Danny Leng, Mark Flemming, Phil Underdown and Rob Wichelow volunteering for the social committee....

Reminder about club AGM
Bengeo Trinity FC's annual general meeting will be held after training on Tuesday 22nd April 8pm at the club. It's important that everyone attends to have a say about how the club is run including who will be managing the sides next season....

Annual Dinner Dance
A reminder to all that the Annual Dinner Dance will be held on Saturday 19th April 2008 at the White Horse Hotel Hertingfordbury. The evening is priced at £25 per head which includes a 3 course meal and disco. Meet at 7pm for a 7.30pm sit down....

Race Night - Sat 26th Jan

Cricket: Bengeo Wanderers lose to Bengeo CC
The annual cricket match between Bengeo Cricket Club and Bengeo FC (aka Bengeo Wanderers) was played out on Sunday 17th June. Bengeo FC skipper, Phil Underdown, had assembled a good mix of youth, experience and guile: Underdown (c), Bowman, Flemming (w), Ingram J, Chastell, Morris, Hogg R, Lawrance J, Bird R, Bird A, Juniper. It was a 40 over game and here is a report just for Pud....

Jubilee Cup Final - Friday 27th April
Bengeo have made it to the Hertford and District Jubilee Cup final vs Harlow Link. The final is this Friday 25th March k.o 7.45pm at the County Ground Letchworth. Get along and support them....

BTFC Golf Day - Hanbury Manor
The BTFC Golf Day took place at Hanbury Manor on Monday 27th November 2006. 16 players took part and despite early rain and soggy conditions underfoot the scoring was generally good. With pre race favourite Mark Fleming heavily handicapped by a nasty cold the tournament was wide open and waiting for someone to emerge from the pack....

Junior Cup 3rd Round Draw
The draw has been made for the Herts Junior Cup and BTFC will commence their
defence in the 3rd round away at either Watton at Stone or Bennington. The
tie will be played on November 11th....

Cricket: Trinity Wanderers beat Bengeo CC
On Sunday the 18th June, Trinity Wanderers looked to restore clarity with
Bengeo Cricket club who have come out on top recently in both the football &
cricket annual challenges.
Unsurprisingly Skipper Phil underdown took this task very seriously with 2
evening net sessions in the weeks beforehand, and was reflected in his team
selection which include saracens league starts such as Morris, Hoggy, Cords
and Kettsy....

News from the EGM
Our 1st Team was provisionally accepted into the Herts Senior County League for next season. Unfortunately after a ground inspection we have since been rejected. The simple reason cited is that our pitch is 6 yrds too short. We cannot extend the pitch there's just not enough room.
Therefore Bengeo will remain in the Hertford & District League for the 2006/07 season and consider our future options....

Please remember to attend an EGM at the club on Friday 26th May at 7pm. We will be discussing the 1st Teams inclusion in the Herts County League and voting in a Reserve Team Manager for next season. Bengeo kicks off the 2005/2006 season
Saturday 3rd September saw both the 1st team and reserves in league action for the first time this season with mixed success. The first team travelled to Cheshunt to play promoted side Greenbury Utd and won comfortably 0-4....

Junior Cup draw for 2005/06 season

Mark Flemming has been confirmed as the new first team manager for the coming season. Chairman John Ingram released this statement: 'I am pleased to say that Mark Fleming has confirmed he will accept the First Team managers position for next year.
